Assessment Three

Congratulations, you have finished the basics! There is just one assessment left.

For this one, you are going to need PowerPoint again. Once you're done with everything, you should be ready to at least be able to follow along and start ramping up your actual day-to-day duties. We are excited to have you join everyone else, and hope you learned a thing or two from this training module.

Knowledge Check

We just ran a campaign that used IAB standard 300x250 and 728x90 banners, Mobile Overlays 320x480 and 320x360, and Desktop Overlays 300x250 and 300x600. We also used 15s and 30s non-skippable prerolls.

Here were the relative performance of each, in CTR, and the cost of each, and the impressions:
300x250: 0.30% CTR, $9.00 CPM, 1,284,484 impressions
728x90: 0.05% CTR, $9.00 CPM, 947,263 impressions
320x480 Overlay: 1.21% CTR, $13.78 CPM, 394,731 impressions
320x360 Overlay: 1.19% CTR, $13.78 CPM, 367,824 impressions
300x250 Overlay: 1.12% CTR, $10.75 CPM, 738,242 impressions
300x600 Overlay: 1.13% CTR, $13.78 CPM, 630,801 impressions
15s Preroll: 0.88% CTR, $22.00 CPM, 1,009,388 impressions, 96% VCR
30s Preroll: 0.79% CTR, $26.00 CPM, 1,199,721 impressions, 94% VCR

From working on the campaign, you also remember that the client started off using 3p tags for all units, but they weren't displaying properly because of a coding issue on their operation team's end. So mid-campaign, we had to switch to 1p tags, causing the campaign to be paused for 1 day.
Create a PowerPoint pointing out the relative efficiencies of each unit, in CPC, and the overall performance, including performance relative to industry average benchmarks. This should be 1-2 slides.

In the next slide, create a list of recommendations for future campaigns. This should include everything you can think of, from what to test, whether they should consider translating creative, etc.

Send the PPT and a cover email to your contact, with the cover email highlighting the key points you'd like to note from the wrap up
