This is the end of your first day of our training module. While you are welcome to browse ahead, we recommend waiting until tomorrow to do so. Regardless of whether you do or not, please thoroughly complete each section as a one-per-day activity, to allow time to soak in the information and really absorb it. We prefer slow, thorough understanding, as our organization is build upon expertise.
Complete this assessment using your newly onboarded Microsoft Office Suite. You will need a combination of Word and Outlook. When you are done, send your completed work to your internal contact who provided you with this training module, and they or another team member will set up time with you to walk through your answers, as well as answer any questions you may have.
Client, ABC Automotive, is handled by agency Red, under holding company X. Our team, including you, just had an introductory 30 minute call with the ABC team at Red. They were interested in the offering, but have a limited budget to test new partners, at $50K over two months. They also wanted to see some case studies of relevant work we have done before they make a decision. Given their limited budget, they are also looking to only have presence in two metro areas, especially since their client only has dealerships in the top ten largest US metro areas. Since it is a relatively lesser known brand in the US, they really want to showcase the "sight, sound, and motion" of the vehicle.
We have only worked with X, with their other agency Rojo, on a banking brand, which performed well, delivering a 0.74% CTR, and 100 new customer acquisitions. But we have run a recent automotive campaign for BigCar with Blue agency under holding company Y, that is perfectly aligned. That campaign was run in NYC and Seattle, and delivered a 0.83% CTR, as well as 17 test drive setups. Their budget was $75K over two months.
You are tasked with creating a writeup of a potential plan to put together for ABC.
Because of the limited buget, they want to focus on one Asian ethnic segment, and they want to do it at an important tentpole time of year for that segment. Given everything you know, put together a Word Document that details which two months they should be active for, which ethnic segment they should reach, which two geos to target, and what type of assets should be deployed.
The client will need to see rationale for each, to be convinced, so sourced data that provides rationale around each recommended parameter is vital. Along with your recommendation, provide the two requested case studies.
